Tonya Veasey is an executive advisor, public affairs strategist, and trusted counselor with more than 25 years of experience helping organizations navigate complexity, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and lead through moments that matter. As Founder and CEO of OCG+, she partners with CEOs, executive teams, boards, foundations, corporations, healthcare organizations, and nonprofit leaders to provide strategic counsel on organizational leadership, governance, public affairs, coalition building, executive positioning, and stakeholder engagement.

Throughout her career, Tonya has earned a reputation as someone leaders call when thoughtful judgment, trusted relationships, and practical solutions are essential. Her experience spans the corporate, nonprofit, philanthropic, and public sectors, giving her a unique perspective on how organizations can build trust, create alignment, and lead with confidence.

Most recently, Tonya served as Chief Engagement Officer at The Raben Group, where she advised executive leadership and helped shape firm-wide initiatives, strategic partnerships, brand positioning, and client engagement. Previously, she served as Transitional President and CEO of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation. During her tenure, the Foundation increased annual revenue from $7.3 million to $18.2 million, and launched its first $50 million endowment campaign, and expanded leadership development programs.

Tonya founded OCG+ in 2005 with a vision of creating a firm centered on trusted counsel and meaningful relationships. Over the past two decades, she has advised Fortune 500 companies, nonprofit organizations, foundations, healthcare systems, and public institutions on executive strategy, stakeholder engagement, public affairs, and strategic communications. Her work includes securing $30 million in public incentives for a Fortune 500 headquarters expansion, raising millions for national initiatives, and leading high-impact public engagement efforts.

She currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the National NAACP Foundation and has held numerous leadership positions on civic, nonprofit, and corporate boards. Her commitment to service reflects her belief that strong governance and authentic leadership create stronger organizations and healthier communities.

Tonya earned an Executive MBA from Texas Christian University, a bachelor's degree in Organizational Management from Paul Quinn College, and a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University. Her leadership has been recognized by PR News, the Dallas Business Journal, the Texas Black Chamber of Commerce, and the Fort Worth Business Press.
